Ondokuzmayis University Journal of Education (OMU-JE) is an academic, peer reviewed journal publishing original research articles.
Research areas: mathematics and science education, computer and instructional technologies, physical education and sport, educational sociology, educational psychology, educational assessment and evaluation, biology education, geography education, educational philosophy, music education, early childhood education, special education, chemistry education, physic education, social studies, history education, Turkish education, foreign language education, adult education, fine arts education, Turkish language and literature, division of curriculum and instruction, educational administration supervision planning and economics, guidance and psychological counseling. Its target population is teacher educators, teachers, students and people and institutions who produce products and provide services for educational communities. OMU-JE has a fully web enabled review system. This system offers authors the option of tracking in real time the review process of their manuscripts. The journal is published twice a year; one issue in May and one in November. The article being submitted should be either in Turkish or English. OMU-JE considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that they have been submitted only to OMU-JE, that they have not been published already, and that they are not under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. 2. All manuscripts should be written according to established specifications for OMU-JE. Failure to follow them results in your paper not being considered. 3. All manuscripts submitted to OMU-JE are circulated to two field referees after initial screening process. If one of the referees decides to reject it, the paper is sent to the third referee. The final decision is reached by the Editorial Panel and conveyed to the author. 4. OMU-JE follows a double blind reviewing procedure. Authors are therefore requested to omit their name and affiliation from the manuscript. 5. Self identifying citations and references in the article text should be avoided or left blank when manuscripts are first submitted. 6. The review process takes approximately four months. 7. Authors are not paid for their contributions. As a condition for publication, authors are required to transfer their copyright to OMU-JE.
